The European Angus Forum is the event for Angus breeders and enthusiasts from all over Europe. Its goal is to exchange knowledge and experiences and to further promote Angus cattle breeding in Europe. This year, it will take place in Germany for the first time! The event will be a multi-day tour from July 10th to 17th, 2024, covering the states of Hesse, Lower Saxony, Mecklenburg, Brandenburg, and Berlin. Participants will visit various interesting Angus farms, including a visit to the Tarmstedt Exhibition. Whether for one or several days, take advantage of this opportunity to meet Angus breeders from across Europe and engage in discussions. The journey begins on Wednesday, July 10th, 2024, with a welcome reception at the Steigenberger Airport Hotel in Frankfurt. The following day, participants will visit the Bischoff PTR and Sippel farms in Hesse, followed by an evening celebration. The itinerary continues with a visit to Weidemann in Korbach the next morning, and in the afternoon, participants will explore the Riekenberg, Oelkers, and Baehre farms. Another highlight is the Tarmstedt Exhibition, including the regional livestock show. The evening will feature a detour into Hamburg’s nightlife. After an overnight stay and harbor tour in Hamburg, the journey proceeds to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, where participants will visit Steesower Agrar GmbH. Following an overnight stay at Müritz Lake in Hotel Schloß Fleesensee, the tour continues to Gut Karow, the Rinderallianz headquarters, and the Hilgert farm in Brandenburg. On July 16th, the forum will host informative presentations on Angus breeding and management. Delegates will also have a meeting after lunch, while others can explore the city air of Berlin, the capital. The European Angus Forum concludes with a final dinner.
