Dear members, dear Angus breeders and friends

I regret to inform you today that the European Angus Forum will not take place from 10 to 16 July 2020.

The Corona pandemic and the related legislation currently prohibit all events with a corresponding number of participants.

Experts believe it is possible that the crisis situation will continue for several months. Nobody can estimate when the problem will be over and what restrictions will still be imposed.

In order to avert greater financial damage, our travel agency has already started to cancel hotel bookings on Monday. Participants who have already made advance payments will be reimbursed.

It is not yet known whether and to what extent our association will be charged with cancellation fees.

It is also not yet known whether the Angustage in North Rhine-Westphalia will also have to be cancelled. Here we still have a deadline until 19.04., after which we will make a decision.

At the moment we still have to wait and should follow the official orders disciplined. This is the only way we can protect ourselves and our contact persons from infection in the best possible way.
